This USA-based home of the tiny zine keeps poets on a tight leash, restricted to 15 lines of no more than 25 characters + spaces. The result is beautiful tiny zines you can read online or print out. On the Print and ebooks page you’ll find a link to the zine version, with instructions for printing and folding. If you hand them out at an open mic you’ll make a lot of poets happy.
Zines (or fanzines) are grassroots publishing; all you need is paper, a pen, and a pair of scissors. Photocopiers and computers can be enlisted to produce more and share them at a distance, and you can get creative with colour and embellishment. But at heart, zine-making is a simple, tangible way to share what you love and believe in.
