Tiny Wren Lit is the USA-based home of the tiny zine, free to read and download. Poets are kept on a tight leash, restricted to 15 lines of no more than 25 characters + spaces. The result is beautiful tiny zines you can print, fold, and share. You can also read the poems individually on their website (see the Read online page).
Zines (or fanzines) are grassroots publishing; all you need is paper, a pen, and a pair of scissors. Photocopiers and computers can be enlisted to produce more and share them at a distance, and you can get creative with colour and embellishment. But at heart, zine-making is a simple, tangible way to share what you love and believe in.
